The Team & Focus of the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Land Referencer to join our expanding Land Referencing team within the Infrastructure Services division. This role is crucial in enhancing our team's expertise to meet increasing client demands. Whether you're a Land Referencer seeking progression or a Senior Land Referencer looking for a new challenge and to support a newly formed team, this position offers growth opportunities.
With over 20 years of providing land referencing services for projects of all sizes, we now seek motivated individuals to join our standalone Land Referencing team. The team will handle major and smaller projects, working closely with project delivery and GIS teams to ensure consistent and diligent land referencing to support DCOs/CPOs or TWAOs.
This is a permanent, full-time role (Mon-Fri), based in our Birmingham office with a hybrid working policy.

Key duties include:
- Overseeing and quality checking data in our ownership database
- Developing land referencing methodologies to support project inquiries
- Managing site visit teams and processes
- Interpreting and analyzing land data
- Reviewing complex title documents and integrating data into BOR schedules
- Collaborating with GIS and project teams
- Attending client meetings and reporting on progress
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Degree in geography, land surveying, or related field
- Experience in land referencing for major projects (DCO/CPO/TWAOs)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
- Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Full driving license
Desirable:
- People management skills
- Experience with mobile data collection tools
- Knowledge of GIS systems and FME
