Overview
ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is looking to appoint a Senior Landscape Planner based out of their Manchester office. This role can be based on a hybrid working arrangement and is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage landscape planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Prepare LVA/LVIAs, feasibility studies, landscape strategies, and input into EIAs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for new business and supporting proposals.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and technical oversight to support their professional growth.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including ecologists, planners, and engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Undertake site visits and surveys to assess landscapes and gather data for analysis and reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
- Proven experience in landscape planning, including LVA/LVIAs, and landscape design strategies.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
- A good understanding of UK planning policy and legislation related to landscape and environmental planning.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.

- Salary up to £40,000 depending on relevant experience.
