The Business Intelligence & Analytics & Wild Data team is at the heart of how we Care Wildly. We empower growth by transforming data into actionable insights and are passionate about understanding customer behavior and identifying opportunities to delight them. We leverage SQL, data visualization, and rigorous experimentation and analysis to uncover trends, predict user needs, and test hypotheses, valuing collaboration, continuous learning, and a data-driven mindset.
What you’ll be doing
We’re open to hiring a Senior or Lead Insight Analyst (level based on experience). The majority of your role will focus on analytical insight projects, with occasional work on reporting and foundational data projects. In a fast-paced environment, you will deliver insights and drive data-informed decisions across marketing and commercial domains.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with marketing and commercial stakeholders to understand their needs and prioritise projects that deliver the greatest business value.
- Translate complex analytical findings into compelling narratives for technical and non-technical colleagues, ensuring insights are clearly communicated and understood.
- Scope, shape and prioritise project briefs, challenging stakeholders to focus on areas delivering the greatest impact and business value.
- Lead a hypothesis-driven approach to answer critical business questions, such as profitability of marketing initiatives, churn prediction and prevention for subscription customers, and the impact of brand campaigns on sales.
- Identify and articulate suitable analytical solutions, leveraging SQL for ad hoc analysis and exploration; proactively uncover opportunities to optimise marketing and commercial performance with clear, actionable insights.
- Encourage exploration and use of AI tools to speed up analytical tasks.
- Create and maintain Tableau dashboards to enable self-serve capabilities for business stakeholders.
- Develop robust, scalable, well-documented data models using Snowflake & DBT to ensure data consistency and reliability across the organisation.
Getting hired / Qualifications
- Must-haves
- Proficient in SQL with regular day-to-day hands-on experience
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills including debugging and QA-ing data models and outputs
- Experience delivering insights to drive business decisions in commercial or marketing fields
- Familiar with marketing and commercial KPIs such as LTV, ROI/ROAS, CAC/CPA and conversion rate
- A proven track record of driving business impact through actionable insights and recommendations
- Ability to identify quick wins and manage trade-offs while maintaining analytical best practices in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Proactive team member who can balance multiple projects and priorities
- Experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
- Nice to have
- Experience in subscriptions and above-the-line marketing analytics
- Knowledge of market mix modelling / MMM / econometrics
- Experience in a high-growth DTC/B2C company or subscriptions-based products/services
- Hands-on experience designing, building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau, Looker or similar tools
