Senior Legal Advisor, 12-month fixed term

Senior Legal Advisor – 12-month Fixed Term Contract

National - United Kingdom

We are seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to join our legal team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves managing non-contentious legal matters, including complex contractual arrangements, and providing pragmatic legal advice to support our projects and mitigate risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing construction professional services contracts and project legal documents
• Advising the Executive Board on contractual risks
• Supporting projects across various markets, especially transport and offshore wind
• Guiding project teams on contractual issues throughout project lifecycles
• Leading or assisting in contract negotiations

About you:

You should have experience in reviewing engineering or construction contracts, with a legal background in law, and experience either in-house or in private practice. Essential skills include:

• Law degree or equivalent
• Experience in contract review and negotiation in construction or consultancy
• Knowledge of contract and construction law
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
