In House Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate Services - Financial Services - 8+pqe - London

Our client is a prominent international group in the Corporate Financial services sector. They are looking for a US Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team and to support their US operations. You will be offered a broad and high-impact role offering exposure to a wide range of legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Provide strategic legal advice across areas including fiduciary services, litigation, company law, employment, regulatory compliance, data protection, funds, and M&A;
• Draft and negotiate complex legal agreements and contracts;
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to manage legal risk and support business growth;
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies;
• Deliver legal training and maintain awareness of legislative changes; and
• Support commercial and compliance teams in developing service offerings.

Your Profile

• You will be US qualified and have significant funds experience but can be based in the UK. Ideally you will have 8+ years PQE, gained in an international law firm or in-house environment;
• Your proven ability to deliver high-quality, commercial legal advice across multiple jurisdictions will be clear;
• You will have experience managing junior legal professionals showing your strong leadership and mentoring skills;
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are key;
• Your commercial mindset and ability to work independently will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
