Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Senior M365 Engineer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Milton Keynes

The ideal candidate will hold an active security clearance and possess a strong background in Digital Workspace MS 365 Applications & Operations engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Defender, SharePoint, and Entra.
• Utilise Intune, Power Platform (including Power Apps and Power BI), PowerShell scripting, and Purview Security to deliver solutions.
• Develop clear and comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
• Operate effectively within public sector or defence secure environments.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 services and operations engineering (Exchange, Defender, SharePoint, Entra).
• Technical proficiency with Intune, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI), PowerShell, and Purview Security.
• Solid practitioner-level knowledge of hardware and software.
• Ability to navigate public sector or defence secure environments effectively.
• Agile and ITIL Foundation level certification or equivalent.
• Microsoft role-based certification is highly advantageous.
