Description
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the property sector.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimise cost management and profitability.
- Manage and review financial controls and procedures to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA or ACA).
- Experience in management accounting, ideally within the property industry but not esseential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations.
