Senior Management Accountant | International Media Agency | London | Hybrid working

JasperRose are currently partnering with WPP Media, the world’s leading media investment company. This role will be based in their London Bridge Head Office (hybrid working) and will report into the Financial Controller.

You will take ownership for one business area, taking ownership if monthly management accounts for reporting GroupM management and WPP group (EMEA).

Duties in this role:

• Manage month-end and year-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and ensure compliance with SOX controls and IFRS principles.
• Liaise with EMEA and global teams to resolve reporting queries and submit quarterly/year-end packages.
• Partner with operational teams to provide analysis and insights, adding value to business performance.
• Continuously improve processes, ensure policy compliance, and support ad-hoc projects and queries.

Requirements:

• Qualified or Finalist ACA /ACCA/ CIMA
• Experience of working within the Media sector is strongly preferred
• Experience working for large and complex businesses
• Must have full experience in month end
• SOX compliance experience
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Great communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and support operational teams with insights.
