Senior Manager, Health, Safety & Risk EMEA

Location: London (Hybrid – 50% office / 50% remote)


We’re now looking for a Senior Manager, Health, Safety & Risk to join our Global Security & Risk (GS&R) team and lead strategic initiatives across our EMEA region. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the safety and resilience of our stores, partners, and customers — both in company-operated and licensed markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion health & safety strategy across EMEA, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with licensees and internal stakeholders to align on Starbucks standards and local regulations.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects with measurable impact.
  • Own the annual insurance renewal process, ensuring coverage and transparency.
  • Represent Starbucks in industry forums and regulatory engagements.
  • Keep policies and procedures current, relevant, and well-communicated.
How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Influence senior leaders and frontline partners through clear, compelling communication.
  • Drive collaboration to assess and mitigate risk across diverse markets.
  • Present business cases that connect safety with commercial outcomes.
  • Build strong networks internally and externally to share insights and best practices.
  • Conduct field visits across EMEA to support partners and assess risk.
What You’ll Bring
  • Advanced H&S qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, NVQ Level 3).
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • A growth mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Experience working across multiple markets and cultures.
