We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Manager – People & Culture to lead our People function across three UK entities. This is a pivotal role for an HR professional with a strategic mindset and hands-on expertise, who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
You will be our sole HR representative in the UK, working closely with global teams across Poland, India and US to shape, drive, and execute the global People Function agenda, tailored to UK needs. This role combines strategic business partnership with operational delivery and requires strong knowledge of UK employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
Location: UK, London (hybrid).
Reports to: VP – People & Culture (based in Poland)

Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership, Business Partnering & Culture Stewardship
- HR Strategy & Transformation: Lead HR transformation initiatives including digital HR, future-of-work planning, and M&A integration strategies
- Culture Champion: Integrating the Employee Value Proposition and competency frameworks into people practices. Drive alignment across global teams and ensure cultural continuity
- Business Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, influencing decisions through coaching & mentoring, data-driven insights and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.
- Policy & Performance: Oversee policy management, performance frameworks, and retention strategies. Ensure alignment with UK employment law and global standards
- Talent Strategy: Drive talent acquisition, engagement, performance management, succession planning, DE&I agenda and capability development across business units.
- HR Tech Integration: Oversee implementation and optimization of HR systems. Drive digital transformation and process reengineering.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Executive Collaboration: Partner with senior stakeholders across business lines to align HR initiatives with strategic goals.
- Change Management: Influence and drive change with strong communication and networking skills.
UK Market Specifics:
- Compliance & Law: Deep understanding of UK employment laws and HR practices. Experience in managing transitions and HR operations across UK and EMEA regions.
- Employer Branding: Represent the company in external forums and awards. Drive initiatives that position the organization as an employer of choice in the UK.
- Payroll & benefits: Oversee UK payroll processes and benefits administration, in close coordination with the operations team in India.
- People Data & Reporting: Provide relevant HR metrics and insights to support data-driven decisions.
Key Capabilities and Competencies:
- People Leadership with ability to drive employee engagement initiatives and cultural development.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to execute hands-on HR activities independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
- Ability of working with distributed teams and cross-border collaboration, especially with teams in India, US and Europe.
- Customer Centricity mindset with a drive to continues improvement.
Qualifications, requirements and experience:
- At least 10 years of proven experience as HR professional, ideally as a standalone or regional HR leader in a multinational organization, including experience in HR operations.
- At least 2 years in a senior HR role.
- Degree in HR or equivalent preferred.
- Strong exposure to UK employment laws including immigration law, insurance industry dynamics, and HR compliance and GDPR.
- Experience managing transitions and HR operations across UK and EMEA regions with proven track record in strategy and cultural transformation projects.
- Ability to act as a strategic advisor to business leaders in multiple legal entities and influence decisions through data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with HRMS platforms and experience implementing HRMS systems and driving digital HR transformation.
- Sound expertise in hiring strategy, vendor management, referral programs, and audit compliance.
- Exposure to leadership hiring, and global sourcing models.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
