Senior Manager - Strategy Execution: Global Licensing Delivery Lead

As our business continues its ambitious growth trajectory, there is a strategic aim to build out a significant licence footprint to enable local collection capability and direct connection to local payment schemes. The Global Licensing programme is a critical initiative aligned with our money movement strategic objectives. The Senior Manager will play a key role in ensuring the success of this programme, overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver operational tasks in assigned jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build end-to-end processes to deliver capabilities via new licences, using assessments to identify efficient delivery paths and industry best practices.
- Analyze organisational data to identify and resolve operational obstacles.
- Maintain detailed execution roadmaps with timelines, resource allocations, and milestones for each jurisdiction.
- Support strategic execution of go-live initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.
- Lead medium to large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery through effective leadership.
- Act as the liaison for specific licence expansion jurisdictions within the strategic team.
- Facilitate communication among product, compliance, legal, revenue, and operations teams to ensure standards and avoid duplication.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
- Motivate teams, foster collaboration, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position; in-office days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in banking, payments, money movement, and growth in regulated environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with experience in MS Project/Planner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence across functions.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, balancing short-term and long-term priorities.
- Proven ability to energize teams and address root causes of inefficiencies.
- Understanding of operational impacts and ability to lead complex problem-solving.
- Experience in building capabilities and leading change.
- Credibility in building relationships within a matrixed environment.
