The Opportunity: Lead initiatives to scale our platform to serve a million new customers, support engineering teams launching in multiple countries, and empower communities with digital financial services.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with the CTO to develop and implement technology strategies across African markets.
- Lead OKRs, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration with distributed engineering teams.
- Oversee technology operations, including resource planning, budgeting, vendor management, and compliance.
- Manage projects related to country launches and platform scaling.
- Develop frameworks for team growth, recruitment, and organizational development.
- Establish data-driven decision processes and optimize resource allocation.
- Coordinate strategy reviews and product execution, working closely with the Head of Strategy & Operations in Product Management.
- Drive AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives, embracing emerging technologies.
What You Need:
- Extensive experience in technology strategy within FinTech, with proven leadership in strategy, operations, and advisory roles.
- Track record of leading strategic initiatives, operational improvements, procurement, vendor management, and organizational goal setting.
- Experience working with distributed teams, agile practices, and stakeholder management.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Bias for action with a proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

This is a fully remote role within UTC -1 / UTC+3, working with a diverse team across UK, Europe, and Africa.
