Senior Manager, Technical Program Management - Capital One Software (Remote).

Capital One has built cloud and data management tools to operate at scale in the cloud. Capital One Software (COS) is bringing a B2B software solution, Slingshot, to market and is accelerating data management for businesses operating in the cloud.

We are seeking top talent to join a team of innovative product, tech, and design leaders. As a Capital One Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of building this business and bringing these tools to market.

Responsibilities (implied from role description)

• Lead and manage technical programs that involve data, cloud, and platform capabilities; partner with product, engineering, design, and data science to deliver solutions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks across the delivery life-cycle; drive execution with accountability and measurable results.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries.
• Simplify technically complex problems to enable well-educated decisions and drive business impact.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in technical program management
• Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
• 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture – preferably AWS
• 3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms
• 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery
• Experience applying Generative AI to solve business problems and drive efficiency
• Experience leading technical programs in data security, governance or compliance-focused environment
• Familiarity with core data security and privacy principles, including data classification, encryption (at-rest and in-transit), access control, and secure data lifecycle management
• 3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact
• Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)

• The salary information provided is for candidates hired to work within listed locations; pay may vary by location. Remote (Regardless of Location): $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management; Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300
• This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation (cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives)
