As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will build cross-functional relationships and influence project teams to support the future of the business and the production process. You will lead the front-end manufacturing engineering activities, from providing DFx input (design for manufacturing, assembly & test) into the design, to solving production capability issues, to ensure new products are introduced into operations in a timely, efficient, cost effective and accurate manner. You will help develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment, and by understanding feedback from operators and engaging with equipment vendors or external suppliers.

- Review production schedules, labor and material costs, and estimate future requirements
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends

- Improve manufacturing efficiency by participating in capacity analysis, workflow planning, space requirements, and equipment layout
Qualifications
- HND (or higher) in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Excellent practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles
- Experience with having work peer reviewed and implementing resulting actions
- Knowledge of more than one phase of the Product Life Cycle and the associated discipline processes
This is not an exhaustive list; we welcome candidates who may not have experience in all areas. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
