We're Hiring: Senior Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover)

Are you a creative and organised marketing professional with a passion for hospitality and community engagement? We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our team on a maternity cover contract.

In this exciting and varied role, you'll work closely with Artfarm’s marketing and communications team, as well as on-site hotel and restaurant leaders, to bring our brands to life — both online and in the heart of our local communities. You’ll help deliver engaging content, coordinate local campaigns and events, and ensure our guests stay connected with everything we offer.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and schedule newsletters for our Scottish properties (The Fife Arms, Gordon’s Tearoom, Fish Shop Restaurant & Fishmongers) using our CRM platform.
  • Manage digital marketing touchpoints, including social media scheduling and community engagement.
  • Capture and curate content — from quick, organic social posts to coordinating larger photo/video shoots with freelancers.
  • Design and produce marketing collateral such as menus, posters, and “What’s On” guides.
  • Maintain and update our websites with fresh content and imagery.
  • Support the delivery of local events and festivals, plus assist during press visits.
  • Manage our image library and recruitment marketing materials as needed.

Essential

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and segmentation strategies.
  • Confident using Canva, WordPress, and social media platforms.
  • Strong copywriting skills and a creative flair.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Full driving license and own vehicle (travel between Braemar and Ballater is required).

Desirable

  • Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Apps).

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home, however a regular on-site presence (minimum 2 days per week) is essential to coordinate and deliver events and support property teams.
