Overview

Age Co are offering a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Marketing Executive to implement and deliver the insurance marketing plans to improve engagement, lead generation and overall insurance sales. You will be responsible for offline channel marketing activities and work with the insurance marketing team to ensure integrated activities for home, car and travel insurance. This role suits someone with exposure to a variety of marketing channels, including press, press inserts, direct mail, email, and campaign landing pages. Due to the hybrid nature of this role, you will work both from home and from our central London office near Tower Hill, as required (1-2 days per week). Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder.

Age Co is a wholly owned trading arm of Age UK. We work with expert providers to offer products and services for the over 50s.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in managing complex data-led acquisition marketing across email and direct mail.
  • Experience in financial services (or similar) marketing, preferably insurance marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience across a cross section of marketing channels including offline and data-driven channels such as press, press inserts, email and direct mail.
  • Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Experience in managing performance of marketing and implementing optimisations that drive acquisition.
  • Experience in managing budgets, raising POs, calculating cost per acquisition and optimising based on KPIs.
  • Understanding of media planning and evaluation.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Expert in Excel and data analytics.
  • Proficient in project/work management tools.
  • Experience with email delivery platforms—building and sending.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of marketing KPIs and commercial awareness.
  • Experience of audience segmentation and tailored messaging in email and direct mail.
  • Experience working with internal and external partners and specialists; experience operating in project teams; and experience managing external agencies.
  • Able to simplify complex concepts and manage content within CMS (or equivalent) systems.
