Role and responsibilities

They need an additional Mechanical Design Engineer or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in York. Youll be joining the building services design team, so you need to be a specialist in that sector.

Youll mainly work on rail related schemes, not just in the UK; they also deliver schemes in Dubai and Europe from York. This means that youll have contributed to some of the largest rail projects being built in the world from your home office or their relaxing workplace.

Youll need to be comfortable with all aspects of mechanical building services design. Youll also need to be used to working within a BIM environment beyond Revit; the team is at the cutting edge of collaborative working.

Similarly, their focus on sustainability means that if you have an interest in building physics, you will find your grey matter well and truly tickled.

Qualifications

Qualifications wise, if you are Chartered, that is obviously a benefit. If it is something you plan to get on your CV, you\'ll receive all the support you need to make it happen. If it isn\'t on your agenda, that\'s fine they\'ll value your on the job experience.
