Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time
As the Senior Mechanical Engineer – Static Equipment
- Undertake engineering duties related to design, certification, and safe commissioning on and offshore. Exercise technical authority, autonomy, and professional judgment. Supervise team members to achieve these duties.
- Specialize in Static Equipment: Storage tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, boilers, valves, piping, separators, and package management.
- Identify project scope and estimate deliverables.
- Contribute to project plans and schedules.
- Report any issues impacting project scope or design to the Lead Engineer.
- Develop cost-effective, safe engineering solutions that add value for PD&MS and clients.
- Address operational and maintenance considerations in design, consulting with relevant personnel.
- Conduct surveys onshore and offshore to gather necessary information.
- Monitor work progress to ensure timely and within-budget completion, reporting as per PD&MS procedures.
- Create and review engineering documents and deliverables.
- Review documents from other disciplines and vendors.
- Coordinate with other disciplines on design and engineering issues.
- Review requisitions for engineered items and services.
- Participate in meetings such as kick-offs, progress reviews, design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability assessments.

About You
- Knowledge of PD&MS QHSE systems and compliance with industry standards.
- Significant experience in detailed design engineering and checking.
- Understanding of all engineering disciplines and relevant Oil & Gas standards.
- Proficiency with Autodesk design tools and MS Office.

Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in engineering
- Chartered Engineer status
- Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS & MIST
