Are you ready to take the lead on critical water infrastructure projects? We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to deliver innovative design solutions for water and wastewater schemes that support sustainability and resilience.

What you’ll do:

• Produce mechanical design calculations and drawings for water industry projects
• Mentor CAD technicians and junior designers
• Prepare scopes, reports, and specifications
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontract M&E design teams
• Ensure compliance with technical and professional standards
• Present designs at meetings and client reviews

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years’ mechanical design experience in the UK water sector
• Strong hydraulic design expertise
• Awareness of electrical design and control systems
• Registered with a professional body and working toward chartership

Preferred:

• Chartered Engineer status
• Experience in wastewater and clean water projects
• Familiarity with water schemes, infra/non-infra designs
• Hybrid working options (minimum 3 days in office)
• Positive and well‑motivated team environment
