Overview
Role: Senior National Account Manager - FMCG Luxury Consumer Brand. Location: Peterborough. Hybrid working: 1-2 days in the office; brand is flexible. Package: Up to £65,000 basic plus bonus and benefits including private health.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for leading the growth of a premium consumer brand in the UK grocery channel, with activity across grocery, convenience, wholesale, D2C, and international markets.
Responsibilities
- Take full P&L ownership of the current national grocery account, ensuring its continued success and growth.
- Convert live retail discussions into secured listings, opening doors with new UK accounts across grocery, convenience, and wholesale.
- Lead Joint Business Plan (JBP) planning, strategic commercial negotiations, and nurture strong customer engagement.
- Represent the brand at tastings, crucial buyer meetings, and key trade events.
- Collaborate with internal teams across supply, marketing, and category functions to drive cohesive strategies.
- Report directly to senior leadership on performance and progress, showcasing impact.
Qualifications
- Essential: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in FMCG food.
- Strong national account management experience, ideally within grocery retail.
- Proven ability in new business development – you can open doors, not just manage existing relationships.
- A highly proactive, commercially astute, and hands-on approach to your work.
- Someone who thrives in an agile, small-team environment where collaboration is key.
- A positive energy, flexible mindset, and a genuine team-first attitude.

Location & Benefits

Salary: up to £65,000 plus bonus with benefits including private health insurance.
