The role
2025 is set to be another exciting year for Huel! We closed our ninth year with £214m in sales and expanded our retail range with Black Edition RTD, Daily A-Z Vitamin drinks, and Complete Nutrition bars. And there’s more to come—big innovations are on the way for FY25 and beyond. Our goal? Scale UK retail to £100m in the coming years.
Since launching RTD in retail in 2019, sales have soared. In the past 52 weeks alone, we hit £60m in RSV on Nielsen, with 62% YOY growth—cementing RTD as a hero product.
To fuel our UK retail expansion, we’re now hiring a Senior National Account Manager to grow our Foodservice Channel, expand into new customers, and drive NPD sales. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be involved in:
- Manage our existing Fooservice business, consisting of the likes of Brakes, Bidfood, DDC, Delicious Ideas plus many more contract caterers. You’ll build strong, strategic relationships that help drive rapid growth for Huel and for the category.
- Continue to grow and build our ready-to-drink business while unlocking new listings in new categories such as Bars and Cans. New business wins is down to you, but also nurturing the relationship, onboarding and full account management to deliver great long term results and partnerships.
- P&L responsibility - you’ll be expected to deliver and surpass our budgeted financial and distribution targets and monitor and track account performance.
- Track Huel’s performance within the context of the category, you’ll be expected to understand the key drivers of performance and to be able to succinctly share the insights internally and with the customers. The customers will see you as someone who has their finger on the pulse and is a reliable source of insight.
- Analyse data to help build your sales presentations and to identify opportunities.
- Accurately forecast so we can remain in stock and so we can plan effectively
What we're looking for in you
This role will best suit someone who is passionate about Huel and super excited about the prospect of driving growth over the coming few years. You’ll need:
- Approximately 5 years of national account management experience working within foodservice, managing big customers such as Brakes and Bidfood and have a thorough understanding of how to win in this channel.
- To be an excellent communicator and relationship builder – you'll deliver key messages with impact, build strong rapport, and confidently handle tough conversations.
- To be commercially astute - you'll need to have a thorough understanding of the P&L and be confident with numbers & analysing data to identify opportunities & create selling stories to show customer and market performance.
