Responsibilities

Our Senior Network Engineers provide operational support and carry out planned BAU work such as upgrades and failover exercises as well as provide input into service improvements. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you\'ll guide a team of capable engineers, support complex infrastructure, and drive innovation across Wi-Fi, On-Prem, and Cloud environments.

Your expertise in network tooling (e.g. Wireshark, NetScout, BMC Entuity), Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure, NGFWs, load balancers and PKI will be key. Familiarity with Aruba Central, ClearPass, Arista CloudVision and network automation tools like Terraform, Ansible and Python are also desirable, but not essential.

Location: You\'ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle, whichever is more convenient for you. Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you\'ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Skills and Experience (Qualifications)

  • Influential, with strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, creatively, and independently to solve issues.
  • Excellent planning and implementation methodology.
  • Skilled Practitioner with extensive experience and proven track record in the understanding of ITSM processes.
  • Detailed working knowledge and practical experience of Network infra in Wifi, DC On-prem, Cloud, Next Generation Firewall, Load-balancing, and PKI technologies.
  • Significant demonstrable experience with network monitoring and analysis tooling
