Senior Network Programme Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join the Network Management team and take a lead role in overseeing the daily activities of the Network Permit Officers.

The successful candidate will serve as the Council's primary interface for matters related to Coordination, Compliance, Licensing, Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs), and other events on the Highway. This particular role is part of the Temporary Restriction, Events, Licencing & Support (TRELIS) Team and the focus of the role will be on licensing in particular.

The Network Management Service is responsible for fulfilling the Council's obligation to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. The Service oversees permit issuance, coordinates activities and works on the highway network, and manages licensing for events, activities, and temporary road restrictions.

Salary: £44,075 to £47,181 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Location: Temporarily based at County Hall or Drayton Depot - Chichester, due to the temporary closure of Durban House, Bognor Regis.
Interview Date: w/c 25/08/25

This role requires the successful candidate to travel throughout the county for visits.

Regular attendance at your designated base location will also be necessary, and there will be opportunities for remote work. Final arrangements will be confirmed with the successful candidate.

You will need to be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and pool bikes available.
