Compass Associates is proud to be partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation offering a broad range of psychological therapies for children, young people, and adults. We are currently seeking a Senior Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join their Adult Pathway on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a rewarding hybrid role ideal for a motivated and experienced clinician who is passionate about adult neurodevelopmental care. As a Senior Practitioner, you will carry your own clinical caseload, support complex cases, and take on leadership responsibilities within a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll also play a vital role in supervising junior staff and overseeing clinical assessments.
The Role
- Conduct comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments (e.g. autism, ADHD) using tools like ADOS-2, ADI-R, DIVA, and cognitive assessments.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentor junior staff, contribute to service development, and assist the clinical lead in ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Maintain adherence to clinical guidelines (e.g. NICE), oversee audit processes, support safeguarding practices, and ensure accurate and ethical diagnostic reporting.
- Contribute to the growth of neurodevelopmental services, engage in clinical audits and improvement projects, and liaise with external partners and agencies.
Requirements
- A professional qualification in Psychology, Nursing, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work
- Experience working with adults in a clinical or community setting
- Experience conducting Autism and ADHD assessments
- Proven experience providing clinical supervision
- Formal training in ADOS, ADI-R, or DIVA (Desirable)
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria and NICE guidelines (Desirable)
