Are you passionate about operational improvement and driving meaningful change? We're working with a leading London-based insurance firm seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist to join their transformation team on an initial 6-month contract, with the expectation of extension. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to partner across the business to identify inefficiencies, deliver process improvements, and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnose business processes and identify inefficiencies and pain points.
2. Design and recommend practical, technology-enabled solutions using tools such as Power Platform and Power BI.
3. Collaborate with developers and SMEs to shape and prioritise initiatives.
4. Define, measure, and track the value of operational improvements (efficiency, effectiveness, customer impact).
5. Support change adoption through clear communication, performance metrics, and stakeholder engagement.
6. Apply operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, value stream mapping) to ensure sustainable improvements.
7. Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to embed continuous improvement thinking.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in operational excellence, business improvement, or transformation consulting.
2. Strong understanding of automation and data tools such as Power Platform and Power BI.
3. Skilled in structured problem-solving, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
4. Comfortable working autonomously, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
5. Experience in insurance or reinsurance.

Benefits

Initial 6-month contract with the expectation for extension.
