The Children’s Hearing Service strives to deliver high quality Paediatric Audiological care for all patients up to 16 years of age, including those referred from the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme, and those with complex needs. You will work as part of a close-knit team dedicated to the health and wellbeing of people in Kent. We are looking for two enthusiastic and adaptable Senior Paediatric Audiologists on a permanent full-time and part-time basis to join our caring and progressive team in multiple sites across Kent.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the people who use our services safe through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate holistic care linked to packages of prescribed care or identified projects.
  • Act as lead and senior practitioner to support junior staff in carrying out assessment/reassessments of service users and/or pathways with complex needs across the relevant field.
  • Ensure that resources are used effectively, planning the workload to meet the priorities with the most efficient use of time, equipment, manpower and other resources (e.g., medical devices).

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Senior Paediatric Audiologist
  • Band 6 Health Care Professional (HCP) with the ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in paediatric audiology and working with patients up to 16 years old
  • Ability to work across multiple sites in Kent and to manage flexible arrangements
