Payroll Specialist / Senior - Hybrid (1-2 days/week in office)

Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment? We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist / Senior to join our dynamic team and help deliver accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services across multiple regions, focusing on the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities, including new hires, terminations, rate changes, benefits, and bank uploads.
  • Ensure full compliance with payroll legislation and tax laws across your assigned region.
  • Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries, resolving issues efficiently through our global case management system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT, Legal) to ensure seamless payroll integration and process efficiency.
  • Drive a culture of self-learning, development, and accountability across the payroll function.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources, Sales, and Management Accounting teams.
  • Partner with Credit Control/Billing to manage pay adjustments impacting billing processes.
  • Support global payroll tax audits and liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Contribute to regular SLA and “Paid on Time” reporting to build transparency and confidence in our payroll services.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing payroll operations, ideally in a global or multi-country environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business.
  • Experienced in payroll systems, reporting tools.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and delivering service excellence.
