There has never been a better time to join EQ.Role SummaryAn experienced individual delivering Pensions System configuration to both internal and external software and administration clients. A client facing role, acting as workstream or technical lead for client configuration and an expert in automating scheme calculations, workflows, client output configuration, data migrations and / or interfaces. Agree the scope of work and provide estimates. Will define, configure, test, implement and maintain specific pension\'s elements of the Company's software. The role also requires the individual to continuously develop a professional, technical and commercially aware approach.Core Duties / ResponsibilitiesUndertake analysis on new pensions projects and/or enhancements to existing projects.Analyse changes and enhancements to client\'s pensions schemes by taking a view of their impact on the company\'s software as installed for the client.Analyse the impact of legislation changes to a client\'s pensions system functionality, providing advice and guidance on the integration of new legislative software modules released by the company.Interpret and implement legislative changes making use of senior consultant advice where necessary.Design the proposed solution prior to the onset of any coding to ensure it fulfils the business requirements, makes best use of existing code, and adheres to technical best practice.Undertake the development of, and continuous improvements to, an appropriate methodology for the construction of pensions calculations to optimise delivery.Liaise and provide guidance to clients on the production of appropriate test data and results.Produce user and pensions systems documentation as required and agreed; ensure documentation is produced, approved and issued in accordance with contractual requirements.Provide support and consultancy to clients, including telephone support and site visits.Ensure successful application of best practice plus all defined policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement where appropriate.Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables from staff.Identify and nurture individual staff development and training within the scope of supervisory responsibility, aligned with Company direction and budget.Skills, Knowledge & ExperienceThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:Prior experience of Pensions Systems configurationAnalytical mindsetAdministration of DB / DC Pensions SchemesExcellent working knowledge of UK Pensions LegislationGood ability to perform scheme calculations manually (supported by appropriate tools)Excellent understanding of Pensions Administration Business Processes and WorkflowsEducated to degree standard preferredRelevant qualifications in the Pensions Industry desirable (e.g. Pensions Management Institute Certification)UML Certification via ITSQB/ISEB or OMG desirable but not essentialStrong experience of the Pensions Industry, either as a Senior Scheme Administrator or Business Analyst experienced in capturing requirements for Pensions IT Projects and supervising or developing and testing Pension Systems ChangesWhat We OfferSave For Your Future - Equiniti Pension Plan; Equiniti matches your pension contributions up to 10%All Employee Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) - Gives all EQ Colleagues the opportunity to benefit if the current owners successfully sell the company for a profit.Health and Wellbeing - Employee Assistance Programme: counselling, legal & wellbeing support for colleagues and their households.
