Job requirements
We are seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Trainer (UK) responsible for delivering the domain training for our UK pensions administration team.
The ideal candidate will bring deep subject matter expertise in pensions administration domain and strong facilitation and instructional skills to support classroom and virtual training, certification preparation, and the development of digital learning content , in line with legislative and regulatory updates.
This position is hybrid and can be aligned to any Aptia UK office, with travel as required to other locations.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Training Facilitation
Deliver the structured learning /training programs on Pension Administration Domain to new joiners as well as existing employees as and when required .
Facilitate training sessions on Ongoing UK Pension Legislation changes to ensure employee awareness and compliance.
Conduct live Q&A sessions to support systems training and reinforce learning through practical examples.
Deliver certification preparation sessions for:
CPC (Certificate in Pensions Calculations)
APE (Award in Pensions Essentials)
C ontent Development & SME Support
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to instructional designers and learning developers for the creation of high-quality e-learning modules and other digital assets for the Pensions domain learning .
Review the learning content to ensure technical accuracy, relevance, completeness, and alignment with latest UK pensions regulations.
Offer insights and updates to support the continuous improvement of the learning material.
If this sounds like your ideal next step, here’s what we’re looking for:
Must-Have
Significant ( 5–10 years ’ minimum) hands-on experience in UK pensions administration .
Strong facilitation and training delivery experience (virtual and in-person).
In-depth knowledge of UK pensions legislation, statutory updates, and industry best practices.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse and geographically distributed learner audiences.
E xperience preparing individuals for CPC and APE certifications .
Comfortable conducting Q&A or drop-in clinics to reinforce technical knowledge
High degree of professionalism and patience in addressing learner queries.
Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to knowledge sharing.
Good-to-Have
Experience working with instructional design and development teams f or supporting e-learning development projects.
Exposure to learning platforms (Degreed, Workday Learning).
Educational Qualification
Graduate/Postgraduate in a relevant field.
CPC and/or APE certified (preferred).
We are open to candidates at either a Grade 4 or Grade 5 for this position.
