Location: London/Hybrid with time in our office approximately once per week

That’s nearly a third of all adults in the UK.
We are Fair4All Finance. We are a not-for-profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.
We are continuing our work following our latest round of funding, and as a result we are now seeking a Senior People Manager to join our People Team, to work closely with the Director of People leading day-to-day people operations, managing a People Assistant to provide high quality people guidance and support to teams.
You will lead people project work, designing and developing effective and efficient processes and policies and everything else which comes with being a generalist in a people related role in a growing organisation.
The role will also play an important part in developing a positive and inclusive working culture and developing a practical and engaging approach to how we embed equality, diversity and inclusion actions. As well as strengthening our employer brand to help attract diverse, talented and committed people who are aligned with our values and motivated by our mission.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to lead for all People operations, supporting high-quality HR service delivery across the team
- Manage and develop the People Assistant, providing leadership and day-to-day oversight
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, supporting inclusive hiring and a standout candidate experience
- Drive performance and development activities, including managing the annual performance review process
- Support delivery of the people strategy across the full employee lifecycle: attract, develop, reward, and retain
- Oversee payroll accuracy, manage people systems and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion across policies, practices, and team culture
- Lead on People projects including team engagement, wellbeing, reward, and learning & development initiatives
- Serve as liaison with key stakeholders, including legal advisors, payroll providers, and recruitment partners
- Help shape internal communications and foster an inclusive, collaborative working culture
- Proven success in a senior People/HR generalist role, delivering across the full employee lifecycle
- Sound working knowledge of employment legislation and practical application in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience leading recruitment and sourcing great talent
- Confident managing employee relations cases and advising managers
- Experience of working with and maintaining HR systems and accurate people data
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable supporting performance, learning and development plans
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced start-up or scaling organisation
- Experience leading diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Familiarity with public or not-for-profit sector working environments

We are a not-for-profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.
Founded in 2019, we are funded from the Dormant Assets Scheme. The scheme is led by the financial industry and backed by the UK government. This makes it possible for money in dormant bank and building society accounts to be used to help good causes.
