Senior Philanthropy Manager

2 Days Old

Prospectus is excited to be working with our client to help them recruit a Senior Philanthropy Manager to join their team. The organization supports refugees by advocating for their protection and raising funds to deliver humanitarian relief to displaced families worldwide. They are apolitical and believe that every person fleeing conflict and persecution has the right to seek protection, regardless of race, religion, nationality, political affiliation, or social group.

Thanks to their UK supporters, the organization can deliver humanitarian aid to families with no other options—rushing life-saving assistance to civilians fleeing conflict, and providing ongoing care such as education and healthcare for families whose lives may remain in limbo for years.

This role is offered on a flexible, full-time, permanent basis, with a salary between £45,405 to £50,450 per annum, and flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO, trustees, and international colleagues to steward and cultivate key donor relationships. They will develop and implement strategies to grow the major donor pipeline, build on a warm portfolio of donors, and identify opportunities for growth and deeper engagement. The role also involves managing the Philanthropy Manager, providing support, mentorship, and coaching for their development.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in income generation within an NGO, INGO, or university setting, with experience in securing 5 to 6 figure gifts from prospects and major donors. They should have experience developing donor care plans and delivering bespoke proposals and communications to generate income. Additionally, experience working with multiple stakeholders in a complex, multicultural, and international environment, and a strong understanding of the UK philanthropic landscape, are essential.

Prospectus is committed to supporting candidates throughout the application process and welcomes applicants of all backgrounds, regardless of age, sex/gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, or pregnancy/maternity. If you require reasonable adjustments during the process, please contact Firas El Dib at Prospectus.

If you meet some of the criteria but not all, we encourage you to inquire and learn more. Prospectus can provide advice and support at each stage of your application.

To apply, please submit your CV. If your experience aligns with the role, we will arrange a briefing to provide more details before you formally apply. We look forward to hearing from you.
