Job Title: Senior Planner

The role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Planner to play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure projects across the UK. You’ll be part of a collaborative team in a safety-first, client-focused environment, where your skills will help shape, renew, and enhance critical infrastructure for the future.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating and managing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Turning complex project plans into clear, achievable steps and ensuring alignment across stakeholders
  • Tracking progress, forecasting timelines, and resolving potential delays before they impact delivery
  • Liaising with engineering, management, and client teams to keep projects on track
  • Analysing critical paths, updating schedules, and producing reports such as S-curves and productivity charts
  • Supporting the delivery of projects to agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards

What we’re looking for

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in construction planning and scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and documentation
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
  • Analytical mindset with strong risk management and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of BIM and large-scale infrastructure projects is desirable
  • Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards
  • Flexibility to travel when required
