We’re looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join a high-performing planning team delivering complex, long-term water infrastructure programmes. The Role – Senior Planner

You’ll take full ownership of one or more water project programmes, ensuring delivery teams remain aligned, informed, and on schedule. Alongside hands-on planning, you’ll play a key role in leading and developing a local planning team, setting standards and embedding best practice across the planning function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining detailed programmes across the full project lifecycle for water infrastructure projects
• Ensuring scope, resources, logic, and dependencies are clearly defined and effectively managed
• Managing critical path, risk, change, and recovery strategies
• Producing high-quality programme narratives and reports for key stakeholders
• Maintaining robust baseline management, coding structures, and schedule integrity
• Mentoring and supporting junior planners to build a strong, collaborative planning team

What You’ll Bring as a Senior Planner

• Extensive planning experience within the water industry or similar regulated infrastructure environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with Primavera P6
• Proven experience leading or managing a planning team
• Confidence working with live programmes, claims, and contractual change
• Ability to communicate complex planning information clearly and credibly
• A calm, solutions-focused approach when working under pressure
