Our client is currently seeking a Senior Planning Engineer on a permanent basis in Warrington.

What will you be doing?

• You will create and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project, turning complex plans into clear, achievable steps.
• You will work closely with teams to assess resources, forecast timelines, track progress, and proactively solve delays.
• By liaising with engineers, managers, and stakeholders, you will ensure everyone is aligned and informed.
• You'll analyze critical paths, update schedules, and generate reports including S-curves and productivity charts to keep projects on track.
• Your approach will blend smart planning with collaboration to meet goals efficiently while maintaining quality, budget alignment, and timeline precision.

What you'll bring:

• 3-5+ years experience in construction planning and scheduling
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and documents
• Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
• Analytical mindset with solid risk management and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with BIM and large-scale infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
• Willingness to travel and work flexibly to meet project needs
