Join Our Team as a Senior Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Analyst!

This exciting role, reporting directly to our Head of PMO, offers the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within Gallagher’s UK & EMEA Change and Operations function.

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional eager to grow their career while contributing to the success of key projects and initiatives across our UK & EMEA business.

We offer flexible hybrid working and this role can be based in either our London City or Chelmsford offices.

How you'll make an impact

  • Support project and portfolio delivery through effective governance, data analysis, and reporting
  • Monitor portfolio performance, highlight risks and dependencies, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support and challenge our Project Managers, and actively share your opinions within our Change Boards
  • Partner with project teams to provide assurance and to embed high-quality outcomes and consistent standards
  • Bring insight and clarity to complex issues using data-driven reporting and clear communication

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven understanding of project management language and frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to tell a story
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with tact and diplomacy
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-changing environment and takes a proactive approach

About You

  • Proven PMO experience supporting diverse change initiatives across complex stakeholder landscapes, ideally within large corporates or financial services
  • Thorough understanding of project delivery methodologies (waterfall/agile), fiscal controls, and lifecycle management, with PRINCE2/APM or equivalent qualifications
  • Skilled in supporting diverse change portfolios, articulating business cases and benefits, and providing insight across competing priorities
  • Track record of implementing process improvements and conducting quality assurance reviews, with data analysis capabilities to identify root causes and recommend solutions
  • Proficient in programme and portfolio-level reporting, integrating tools and processes for accurate, exception-based insights
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and change management, with strong communication skills across all organisational levels
  • Experienced in deploying project management tools with in depth understanding of functionality and processes to drive adoption and capability uplift
  • People management experience including coaching, development, and assignment oversight
  • Familiar with Planview Portfolio and similar platforms
  • High attention to detail in written communications, SOPs, and dashboard design for senior audiences
  • Collaborative team player with strong organisational skills to prioritise, schedule, and monitor progress effectively
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Willingness to travel to different UK offices as needed (infrequently)
