Senior Presentation Designer – Evening Shift

Salary: £51,650 +10% night shift allowance, plus company benefits

Location: London E14

Contract: Permanent, full time

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Mon‑Fri 14:00‑22:00 with a 30‑minute unpaid break

Work model: Hybrid; 3 days worked onsite

Purpose of role

As a Senior Presentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in defining and communicating the creative vision for our client pitches within the investment banking sector. You will be responsible for crafting high‑impact, visually compelling pitch presentations and supporting design materials that bring ideas to life and clearly articulate our creative and strategic approach. This role demands a blend of conceptual creativity and visual storytelling, requiring you to collaborate closely with global teams and clients to deliver presentations that inspire confidence, win clients, and reflect our design ethos.

Beyond pitch presentations, you will work on a variety of print and digital projects within a busy corporate environment. Using tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, you will be expected to work efficiently and with keen attention to detail. Your expertise will be essential in producing and delivering projects including business brochures, advertising, infographics, and a variety of other print‑based design work from brief through to print.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging visual narratives that respond directly to client briefs and express key design intent
  • Develop concept imagery, mood boards, presentation layouts, and storytelling assets that communicate ideas clearly and powerfully
  • Work closely with design, and strategy teams to align creative output with project and client objectives, build strong client relationships with key stakeholders and relevant support teams, enhancing client work and growing our service
  • Provide a seamless service that surpasses client briefs, ensuring the delivery of on‑brand creative material
  • Support the wider bid and proposal process with innovative design solutions and presentation concepts
  • Contribute to brainstorming and strategy sessions, offering fresh visual and conceptual perspectives
  • Ensure all presentation materials adhere to company brand standards and visual guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards
  • Uphold consistently high visual quality, attention to detail, and creativity across all deliverables
  • Create impactful infographics, diagrams, and layouts to convey complex ideas and processes
  • Translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals that resonate with diverse audiences
  • Stay informed on design trends, emerging technologies, and innovative presentation techniques
  • Introduce new ideas and creative approaches to elevate storytelling and visual quality
  • Push creative boundaries while maintaining brand integrity and client focus
  • Design and produce highly creative PowerPoint presentations for both existing clients and new business opportunities
  • Maximise PowerPoint’s advanced functionality to deliver visually striking, dynamic, and on‑brand presentations
  • Maintain the highest creative standards across all presentations and design outputs
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deadlines
  • Quality check design and artwork within corporate brand guidelines and to approved briefs and timescales

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or a related field
  • 5–8 years’ experience in creative presentation design, ideally within investment banking, professional services, or corporate communications
  • In‑depth understanding of print and design processes
  • Proven experience developing and delivering successful client pitches or bid presentations
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including advanced animation, master slide management, and template creation
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with working familiarity in After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • Experience creating and editing PDF documents
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional eye for layout, typography, colour, and visual storytelling
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills; able to work under tight deadlines whilst under pressure
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of presenting creative ideas clearly and persuasively
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing, and business development principles
