Senior / Principal Geotechnical Engineer – Permanent role in Birmingham (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office), Mon – Fri.

Are you a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer looking to work on a multi-billion-pound infrastructure project? You will provide geotechnical leadership on highly technical civils projects and have an autonomous role impacting the delivery of major rail infrastructure.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical expertise for the development of stations, railways, viaducts, earthworks, tunnels and other railway structures.
• Maintain technical standards and understand Eurocode 7, CDM requirements and ground investigations for major civils projects.
• Lead geotechnical design on complex, high-value projects and support full project lifecycle from design through to delivery and maintenance.
• Support NEC3 contract experience and act as a subject matter expert on the UKs largest infrastructure project.

Qualifications and Experience

• Chartered Engineer Status.
• Experience in geotechnical design for major civils projects.
• Experience in Geotechnical Design Assurance, NEC contracts and CDM regulations.
• Strong background in geotechnical design for major civils projects and desire to become a subject matter expert on the UKs largest infrastructure project.
