PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR – SENIOR ROLE / PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £70,000 – £100,000 + Bonus

QED Legal is recruiting for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a prestigious, Legal 500-ranked law firm in Hertfordshire. The Role

You will join a well-established and high-performing Private Client department, working on a full spectrum of matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trust creation and administration
• Tax planning (Inheritance Tax, CGT)
• Advising HNW individuals and families

You will also take on a leadership role, helping to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the strategic direction of the department.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a solicitor who:

• Has 6+ years' PQE in Private Client law
• Is confident managing a broad caseload of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Tax matters
• Has a keen interest in career progression to partnership
• Ideally holds a STEP or SFE qualification (or working towards it)
• Demonstrates commercial awareness, client care, and team leadership skills
