A prestigious global firm undergoing a major transformation within their procurement function is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to take ownership across Logistics & Distribution categories, alongside a smaller portion of Corporate Services related spend. This high-profile mid-senior level role includes one direct report and responsibility for delivering measurable business impact, shaping strategy, and driving innovation across the category.
This is a strategic procurement role where you will influence key business decisions and drive operational excellence. You\'ll work closely with stakeholders to optimise supplier networks, unlock efficiencies, and deliver value beyond cost reduction. Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing & category strategies across Logistics and some Corporate Services related spend.
- Build future category roadmaps using market insight, data, and stakeholder demand.
- Drive cost optimisation, risk management, and supplier innovation.
- Negotiate complex supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and high performance.
- Manage one direct report, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight.
- Act as a trusted procurement partner, influencing senior stakeholders to deliver results.
Required Experience
- Significant procurement / category management experience in Logistics & Corporate Services.
- Strong track record of leading sourcing projects, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
- Leadership experience, managing a direct report or small team.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge and influence senior leaders.
