We are looking for a Senior Product Design Engineer to join our UK NPD team building a new generation of innovative products for our Ninja brand. We thrive on designing great products that delight our customers. Working as part of our London Design Office, you will bring technical substance and inspiration to our creative efforts to deliver credible solutions to the market.
What You'll Do:

• Lead technical problem-solving during product development, working independently and with teams.
• Mentor junior team members, with potential for line-management.
• Collaborate to establish user, design, and functional requirements, deliver solutions, validate through testing, and build consensus.
• Own designs from conception through CAD, prototyping, and verification, working efficiently and developing team capabilities.
• Continuously improve designs for cost, manufacturing, quality, and consumer value.
• Apply engineering and product design standards to deliver effective solutions.
• Utilize understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes and materials to optimize designs.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues.
• Collaborate across global teams to ensure successful product launch.

What You'll Bring

• Typically 5+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems in high-voltage environments, including materials, heat dissipation, vibration control, and structural integrity.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems, electrical safety, and thermal management.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
• Experience with injection moulding and materials suitable for high-voltage applications.
• Expertise in electrical safety, risk assessment, failure mode analysis, testing, and certification.
• Ability to design, build, and test prototypes; familiar with environmental testing.
• Proficiency in 2D drawings, assemblies, BOM management, and GD&T knowledge is a plus.
