Senior Product Designer - (Remote UK) at Splice. Splice is a creative platform for people who make music, offering Splice Sounds, a catalog of sounds and samples, an expanding AI stack, and a rent-to-own marketplace of DAWs and plugins. This role will work on Splice/Spitfire products and report into Splice HQ.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape innovative, intuitive, and inspiring tools for music creators worldwide. In this role, you\'ll lead end-to-end design for key product areas—from discovery and concepting to polished, production-ready experiences, balancing user needs with business goals. You\'ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to solve complex problems, elevate design craft, and bring a consistent brand voice to our products. Ideal candidates combine strong interaction and visual design skills with a deep empathy for creators, a passion for music, and the ability to translate complex workflows into simple, delightful experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Envision the next generation of user interfaces and experiences for Spitfire Audio products
  • Sketch, wireframe, prototype, design, and deliver high-fidelity visuals and interactions
  • Facilitate design projects from problem definition to production and beyond
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and others to drive projects forward and contribute to the overall direction of your area
  • Leverage UXR and analytics to validate and evaluate design solution effectiveness
  • Participate and provide feedback in design reviews

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Product Designer
  • Proficiency with DAW-based music production
  • Demonstrated ability to turn abstract ideas into high-quality designs
  • Portfolio showcasing a history of high-quality work
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and the problems you\'re solving
  • Ownership mindset and attention to detail
  • Humility and openness to give, receive, and incorporate actionable feedback

NICE TO HAVES

  • Ability to prototype and/or build with code
  • Experience with UI micro-interactions and motion
  • Experience working at high-growth organizations

Compensation and Benefits

The national pay range for this role is £65,000 - £70,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with experience.
