The Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll focus on enhancing the customer experience and contributing to our mission. This hands-on IC role involves designing parts of the Plum product within a cross-functional team.

What You Will Do

• Solve user problems end-to-end, from research to implementing polished flows with engineers
• Collaborate with designers to establish design processes, tools, and principles
• Sketch and prototype ideas to evaluate viability before detailing interactions
• Use research and testing to validate designs and understand users better
• Partner with Product Managers to define product features and future iterations
• Work closely with Engineers to build, iterate, and ship designs

Who You Are

• A product thinker who cares about impact and user needs
• Someone with a human-centered design process, utilizing data and research
• A strong communicator, able to rationalize design decisions and accept feedback
• Independent but collaborative, knowing when to seek help
• Experienced in designing for mobile, with a portfolio showcasing interaction and visual skills
• Familiar with digital product development and shipping products
• Proficient in iOS and Android design systems, understanding when to reuse patterns or go custom
