We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Governance Manager to join our team based in either Edinburgh or Alderley Edge.
As the Senior Product Governance Manager, you will lead, support, and develop the Product Governance Team in overseeing all UK propositions, collaborating with key stakeholders in the UK Customer Team and the wider Group.
This role involves providing insights on the delivery of or risks to good customer outcomes, including the likelihood of foreseeable harm, through fair value assessments and ongoing monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and extensive knowledge of product governance best practices. You should be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and possess exceptional communication and people management abilities to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fair value assessments and ongoing monitoring to ensure propositions deliver good customer outcomes.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance value for customers, members, and internal stakeholders.
- Support senior directors and heads of propositions in managing risks related to customer outcomes.
- Escalate significant issues, risks, or failures to deliver required actions.
- Oversee and deliver regulatory and business reporting and MI requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
About You
- Experience in people management.
- Relevant experience in product management or a similar role.
- Strong customer focus and passion for delivering good outcomes.
- Ability to influence peers and management.
- Knowledge of Pensions, Protection, Life, and Savings propositions.
- Understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory framework.
