At Future, our proprietary ad technology delivers billions of ad impressions to hundreds of millions of engaged users monthly. We are responsible for delivering outcomes for our advertisers, whilst not losing sight of the end user experience.
As the Senior Product Manager, Adtech, you will drive the development and evolution of our ad offering, with a particular focus on delivering products that drive ROAS & performance outcomes for our clients. You will lead globally on the roadmap for our data product Aperture and the strategic project Performance Ads. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, sales, operations, and other business stakeholders globally and identify opportunities to enhance functionality and performance. Your work will ensure that our ad technology meets the needs of our advertisers and end-users while aligning with Future's overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and agreement of the strategic product roadmap for Performance Ads and Aperture
- Develop and refine a hypothesis-based roadmap (HBR) to iterate and test new features, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives
- Evaluate and prioritise new feature requests, balancing competing ideas and establishing ways to test, iterate and scale those via the "platform effect"
- Define clear investment cases for significant product and/or platform initiatives
- Index highly for implementation.
- Report on benefit realisation for all product initiatives
Platform Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure all product proposals and updates align with Future's digital strategy
- Serve as one of the key points of contact for internal teams and stakeholders to address issues, query functionality, and gather input for product enhancements
- Present new features to internal teams to drive adoption, gather feedback, and iterate for improved outcomes
- Help embed change in the business following the launch of new products, propositions and features
- Work cross-functionally with data scientists, UX designers, engineers, and stakeholder teams to understand user behaviour, perform user testing, and identify opportunities for ad tech innovation.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering colleagues in an Agile software development environment, refining the delivery backlog
Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve
- Previous experience in the media/advertising industry with an understanding of digital media performance metrics
- Experience with publisher-side ad-tech ie ad serving / GAM is preferable.
- Experience working with DMPs/CDPs is preferable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
- Experience in defining and executing a product strategy
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor complex ideas to various audiences and foster alignment across all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated success in optimising products through ideation, testing, and analysis, with measurable improvements to KPIs
- Data-driven analysis, with expertise in evaluating KPIs to inform decisions, identify value, and drive impactful outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to secure alignment and approvals as needed

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath or London Paddington Office, working three days from the office, two from home
