Senior Product Manager - Comparison at Confused.com. Hybrid: 2 days per week in-office. Location: Cardiff. Part of RVU, a group of online brands including Uswitch, Tempcover and money.co.uk.

Confused.com is at the cutting edge of the FinTech industry. We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive forward capabilities to improve the customer experience across Confused.com. You will shape and evangelise the product vision for your area and use data-driven, discovery-led approaches to identify, shape and deliver innovative experiences that our customers love.

As a key voice within the business, you will work with engineers, analysts and designers to deepen customer relationships, increase engagement, conversion, loyalty and customer lifetime value. This role supports a “one platform” approach across multi-channel journeys.

About The Role

You will drive strategic initiatives across the Comparison journey for a significant product area aligned with market verticals (e.g., Car, Home, Van, Travel, Life) and manage a multi-channel end-to-end journey with cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Strategy
   • Define, own, evangelise and drive the strategy for the Comparison journey for a significant Product Area aligned with a market vertical.
   • Lead a multi-channel strategy for the end-to-end journey, joined up with CRM, Account, Web and Mobile applications.
   • Lead discovery and support delivery to improve user experiences, challenging assumptions to focus on valuable opportunities.
   • Identify opportunities to capitalise on emerging technologies such as Generative AI to deliver personalised experiences.
   • galvanise cross-functional teams to work together across the business and improve ways of working.
2. Delivery
   • Use data and customer insights to identify opportunities and articulate performance measures.
   • Establish scalable experimentation pipelines across user touchpoints for fast hypothesis testing.
   • Champion customers by delivering integrated experiences that drive business outcomes.
   • Collaborate with engineering, design and marketing to develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap.
   • Manage external developers and service providers to deliver required outcomes.
   • Navigate organisational challenges, escalating when needed and influencing senior stakeholders to unblock progress.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong product management background with experience leading discovery with Product, Engineering and Design teams.
• Bias to action and ability to deliver; practical, fast decision-making.
• Commercially astute with ability to derive insights through critical thinking.
• Resilience and adaptability, able to navigate ambiguity and complex challenges.
• Understanding of human-centered design and digital customer experiences.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills to secure buy-in from teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex supplier/partner relationships, contracts and projects to achieve business objectives.
