Senior Product Manager - Current Accounts at Zopa Bank
We’ve just launched our Current Account and are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape and build out the customer experience and features as it grows. This role is highly autonomous with ownership over the core Current Account proposition and main experiences of the account (e.g., pots, paying bills). You’ll ensure customers are excited by our product and choose Zopa over the competition, with ambitious plans to reach 1m+ active customers in three years.

Responsibilities
- Lead a user-experience focused team owning onboarding, early engagement, rewards and account benefits, and other features that move the needle.
- Collaborate with the Lead Product Designer and design team to optimize the Current Account customer experience.
- Problem solve with engineers to build solutions, balancing speed of delivery with value and learning.
- Ensure products are beautiful, viable, usable and feasible with the help of engineers and designers.
- Maintain alignment with the broader Current Account platform and operational teams to ensure coordinated progress.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Brand, Legal, Finance) to collaboratively solve problems.
- Work with the Current Account Product Lead on overarching product strategy for customer acquisition.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years in customer-facing product roles; Fintech experience preferred but not required.
- Passionate about product with ideas for what’s next and a track record of building impactful products.
- Evidence of delivering successful products that moved metrics; zero-to-one experience is a plus.
- Customer-focused with a data-informed approach; able to articulate how products differentiate and meet market needs.
- Outcomes-focused, proactive, and willing to take ownership beyond immediate remit.
- Data-driven decision maker who tests and learns to progress toward goals.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with engineers and designers.

Working at Zopa
We value flexible ways of working and face-to-face collaboration. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week. You’ll also have the option to work from abroad for up to 120 days a year. We’ll ensure you have what you need to thrive, at work and home life.
As part of our office relocation plans, Zopa will move to a new headquarters at 20 Water Street, Canary Wharf, later in 2025 to support a growth-focused environment.
