Our Future Health will be the UK's largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent, and treat diseases. Diseases like cancer, dementia, diabetes, and heart disease affect the lives of many people in our communities. Our goal is to create a world-leading resource for health research, to improve our understanding and spot the patterns of how and why common diseases start, so treatments can begin sooner and be more effective.

We are looking for a mission-driven Senior Product Manager to lead user growth and engagement for our digital health platform, serving patients, healthcare professionals, or health research participants. This role is critical in helping us scale meaningful impact across large and diverse populations by improving how individuals discover, access, and engage with our products and services. You will work at the intersection of product, marketing, and clinical/research operations to design and execute strategies that drive sustained user engagement while upholding trust, privacy, and equity. Your ability to align product experiences with health outcomes or research goals will be key.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Develop and execute data-informed growth and engagement strategies tailored to health users or research participants
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and communications teams on outreach, education, and retention initiatives that meet regulatory and ethical standards
  • Design frictionless, compliant user journeys that support enrolment, activation, and longitudinal engagement
  • Run structured experiments and analyse behavioural data to identify and scale what works
  • Partner with clinical, legal, and operations teams to ensure all product touchpoints reflect accuracy, empathy, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Experience in growth product management roles developing complex products or services with significant consumer reach, focusing on growth, engagement, and retention
  • Experience developing and implementing complex products or services aligned to a wider organisation or company-wide vision/goal
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve a shared goal, ideally in a challenging stakeholder environment with competing priorities
  • Solid technical/software development background and experience delivering complex platform and product solutions to a schedule, ideally with distributed teams
  • Data-driven with experience establishing mechanisms to track qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure product success and impact on end users
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence, facilitate decision-making, and align on shared goals
  • Tenacious and collaborative approach to problem solving, curiosity to explore ideas, and ability to inspire product teams and achieve delivery targets
  • Ability to work in a changing environment with shifting priorities and requirements
  • Passionate about a user-centred approach to product development
  • Mindful of compliance requirements and ideally experience of developing digital products in a highly regulated environment
