Playlists are at the heart of Spotify. They soundtrack morning commutes, fuel workouts, spark discovery, and bring friends together. This role is highly collaborative and involves working with teams across the company, time zones, and disciplines to ensure experiences serve users, creators, and Spotify.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a product vision and strategy for the Playlist core experience, aligned with the broader consumer experience vision
  • Collaborate with other teams inside the product area and across the company
  • Prioritize a long-term product roadmap for your team
  • Drive alignment for your strategies, roadmap, and metrics across the organization
  • Use data, insights, and experimentation to inform decisions and sharpen strategy
  • Demonstrate product craft by shipping impactful, high-visibility features that move Spotify’s topline metrics
  • Build and manage cross-functional relationships to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
  • Build a broad network across Spotify to align with adjacent strategies and maximize impact
  • Work in a cross-discipline team and partner with engineers, data scientists, researchers and designers on multiple projects from idea to launch

Who You Are

  • User focused. You’ll keep our most visible surfaces grounded in user needs while advancing Spotify’s long-term playlist strategy.
  • An excellent communicator and storyteller, skilled at tailoring ideas for different audiences and contexts.
  • Comfortable using research, analysis, and A/B testing to inform decisions.
  • Excited about the potential of AI and personalization, with the ability to link today’s product decisions to tomorrow’s evolving ecosystem.
  • Growth-minded, always learning and adapting.
  • Collaborative, prioritizing team success over individual recognition.
  • A consistent track record of taking new consumer products to market.
  • Skilled at distilling complexity into clarity and guiding teams through ambiguity.
  • Experienced in building ambitious, compelling product visions and strategies for widely used products.
  • A clear thinker, equally comfortable with conceptual models, design trade-offs, and data-informed iteration.

Where You’ll Be

  • This role is based in London or Stockholm.
  • We offer flexibility to work where you work best. Some in-person meetings, with the option to work from home.
