Octopus Money is on a mission to simplify financial planning, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team and help us build innovative products that empower our users.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform. Why Octopus Money?
At Octopus Money, we’re on a mission to make money advice accessible to all – because the right advice can turn your life dreams into reality.
The facts are alarming: half of Brits reach retirement age without enough money to live the life they want, financial stress is a leading cause of poor mental health and only 8% of us have access to 1-to-1 advice.
There’s plenty of information out there, but most of us just wish that someone we trust would tell us what to do with our money!
With Octopus, you get a personalised plan and a friendly expert to help you make it happen. We combine advisers, coaches and technology to understand your situation and recommend the right steps for your savings, investments, pensions and more. Then, we make it easy to invest in a custom portfolio, managed by experts.
We believe everyone deserves personal, 1-to-1 advice with their money.
What you'll do
- Lead and guide a cross-functional engineering squad through the full software development lifecycle
- Drive product discovery, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to define and translate user needs into actionable user stories
- Manage product backlogs, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and utilize personas and user journeys
- Oversee product delivery, ensuring successful launches and continuous improvement
- Communicate complex ideas clearly, adapting to a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Foster a collaborative and curious team environment, acting as a trusted product authority
What you'll bring
- Proven experience as an Agile Product Manager leading engineering squads.
- Extensive expertise across the entire software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to drive core metrics through data analysis and show measurable business impact
- Strong advocacy for agile working, user-centred design, and delivering user value
- Excellent communication and consulting skills for senior stakeholder engagement and simplifying complex concepts

In return for your contribution we offer a salary of £75,000 - £80,000 + benefits
