Senior Project Controller - Energy & Power at Jacobs, Manchester, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Manage project setup and inception – ensure correct Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is set up to enable accurate reporting to the client
• Provide accurate, robust Estimates to Completion (ETC) and ensure alignment with IPCS and regional timescales
• Create and maintain internal status reports; monitor, review and communicate Budgets / Actuals / Forecasts / Gross Margin / Contingency and Management Reserve to internal management
• Ensure adherence to contractual and Jacobs invoicing requirements; control Work in Progress (WIP) and maintain appropriate Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Support project teams on cash collection activities and lead the commercial effort on bid submissions, working closely with project teams on new opportunities

Qualifications

• Knowledge and practical understanding of Jacobs internal systems and processes including Jacobs Analytics, Polaris, IPCS, Pricing Tool, APAP, Contracts
• Experience working as a Framework/Project Controller/Commercial/Financial Analyst on previous projects
• Specific experience in project controls functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis, variance analysis
• Ability to lead a team of Project Controllers to respond to dynamic challenges whilst maintaining delivery excellence
